Location: Western Metro, MN

Terms: contract to hire

Positions: multiple openings

Status: Green Card or Citizen

Environment: This is within the healthcare/medical domain. An 8-5 atmosphere with no travel. Team is 15-18 individuals.

Inside information: Must be able communicate effectively, and be able to do full lifecycle development (front/back and testing). More procedural programming then OO.



EXPERIENCE:

PHP programming and web development/design

· experience and/or training with C++/Java or other third generation language; or equivalent combination of education and experience

· 2 plus years related experience working with SQL database design and/or maintenance

· 2 plus years experience working with web design using HTML

· Solaris / Linux experience a plus

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

· Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining software

· Developing database driven web pages, utilizing AOL server with TCL and Oracle

· Consults with Client to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives

· Adheres to good user-interface design principles by considering usability and user expectations

· Designs and develops computer programs to perform actions specified in project design

· Works with other programmers on larger development projects

· Tests program to ensure that it follows the design specification

PROGRAMMING SKILLS:

Key skills: PHP, HTML, web development/design

Other: Linux/Solaris shell scripting, C++, Java, Perl, TCL, JavaScript
